The pickup contains 3 wires:

-Unplug battery before installation-

• White: Signal -----------

carries the signal generated in the pickup to the next stage (preamp module).

• Red: V+ -----------

supplies the pickup with the power comming from a 9V battery.

• Black: GND -----------

Supplies the pickup with a reference ground, this should be connected to the V- (GND) of the (same) 9V battery.

*This cable can have traces of the red color like the red of the cable it is connected to, this chances nothing in its working operations, it will still be reffered to als the black cable.

Double-check again after everything looks in order, because wrong wiring can destroy the pickup.

Installation for the Preamp Module

Module contains 6 connections from a screw terminal

-Unplug battery before installation-

Battery:

• Battery +: Red cable -----------

Battery supplies the module with its electrical power, this is the positive terminal.

• Battery -: black cable -----------

Battery supplies the module with its electrical power, this is the negative terminal.

Double-check again after everything looks in order, because wrong wiring can destroy the module

Module contains 6 connections from 3 dual screw terminals.

-Unplug battery before installation-

Pickup and Bass grounding:

*Given that you connect the Pulsar pickup to it

• Pickup Signal: white cable -----------

Gives the signal going out of the pickup to the preamp

• Pickup +: red cable -----------

Supplies the pickup with the electrical power of the battery being filtered and passed by the preamp

• Pickup -: black cable -----------

Supplies the pickup with the electrical power of the battery and being the reference point for the pickup.

• Extra GND: check bass

Grounds the conducting parts of the instrument you are installing this in, in this case green.
